LabTech cares about the environment
Today more than ever, our impact on the environment has become a crucial aspect to be reduced.
LabTech cares about this topic and for this reason complies with the UE Regulation 517/2014 that maintains the environmental protection objective by strengthening and introducing specific provisions to reduce emissions of fluorinated greenhouse gases (also known as F-gases).
In order to do so, we replaced the R134a gas contained in the refrigerant circuit of our chillers with the R513A gas that represents an excellent substitute considering its lower GWP (Global Warming Potential) and its energy efficiency. All this has been made without changes in the structure and the cooling capacity of LabTech chillers.
We strongly believe that a sustainable approach can make the difference.
