The fight against Covid-19 never stops. In the absence of a vaccine which we hope will be developed soon, several methods have been generated worldwide to limit the damages.
One of the most reputed is the serum test. Analyzing the serum not only allows to intercept the asymptomatic positives but, above all, it allows to understand if people who have 'met' the virus without getting sick, or just showing modest symptoms, have immunized themselves by developing specific IgG antibodies (antibodies that recognize viral proteins with very high specificity), the same antibodies that we produce after a vaccine.
When it comes to blood, centrifuges are always involved and we are proud to give our humble contribution.
